Angel Grove Located roughly where the real LA would be, Angel Grove is home to the Power Rangers. In 2012 (the year of the PR ban) the crime rates sky rocketed and since then have been relatively higher than any other city in the US. The streets are not as safe as they once were and the city is ready for the newly formed teams of trained Rangers to help defend and rebuild it. If you would like to make your own restaurant, bar, zoo, book store, etc... just go to the application section, copy & paste the "Location Application" and email it to us at agrpg.mod@gmail.com! We'll review the location and add it so long as there isn't anything super obviously out of place about it! (Credit: Joe Rovang! We have made modifications for the game.) ![]() Project Power Ranger Academy
![]() Main School Building The main building contains most of the classes, offices, medical center, etcetera. It is an expansive place, constructed with the help of the CGH (Council for the Good of Humanity) and the PPRA. ![]() Dorms/Apartments Exterior Most of the dorms and apartments are similar from the outside, numbered for ease of navigation but otherwise indistinguishable from each other. There are trees lining all of the buildings on the Academy property. ![]() Dorms Interior There are six different dorm buildings for each of the differently colored Houses. Inside, each is decorated with standard comforts, the accents and some of the pieces of furniture corresponding to whichever dorm color lives within. The room shown below is a perfect example of what the interior of the Scott (red) House would look like. ![]() Library & Study Center Thousands of books line the rooms of the library, everything anyone at the PPRA would need to have at their disposal. All of the history of the Rangers can be found here, all of the details of Zords, the mechanics of the weapons, the mythology behind the animal spirts, etc. Anything anyone could need to look up is here. There are also quiet spots for studying and computer and internet access desks. ![]() The Command Center The Command Center served it's first team of Rangers in the early nineties. An important relic of our past, it has been repaired and preserved for all Rangers young and old to visit and learn from. ![]() Youth Center Gym & Juice Bar No longer owned and operated by Ernie, it was bought and reopened and continues to pull in business. Positioned near the High School, it is one of Angel Grove's hot spots for all ages from 13 to 25. Martial Arts and Dance classes are frequently taught in the building. Exercise equipment, mats, rope climbs, arcade games, juice bar (with fried foods), lockers and showers are just some of the things one might find here. ![]() ![]() Mellow Tiger Café A quiet coffee and sandwich shop in downtown Angel Grove. There are open mic nights every Friday and live music every Saturday and Sunday. Connected to the coffee shop is a small book store for alternative healing and meditative books. ![]() Nectarine Ballroom The local and incredibly popular dance club. It rages every night from 9pm to 3am, though different week days have different themes. No one under 18 admitted.
![]() Get Some Bar & Grille Angel Grove's most popular place to eat. They play the big games on flat screen televisions, have an outdoor patio and even a room with two pool tables. This establishment is smoke-free and not open to anyone under 21 after 10pm. ![]() Asoka Japanese Restaurant (Player Created) Complete with a general seating area, hibachi tables, sushi bar, and even private dining rooms, Asoka is the premiere Japanese dining experience in downtown Angel Grove. Owned and operated by the Fukiyama family, this new restaurant is the place to be—whether you’re on a romantic date, having a business meeting, or just going out with some friends. ![]() Restorative Therapy Services and New Start Prosthetics (Player Created) RTS offers therapy for all kinds of problems, surgery and prosthetics consultations, and actual fittings for prosthetics, although the surgeries are done at the local Angel Grove hospital. Established in 2050 by David and Maria Weston, it has become a booming business and grown a lot since then. New Start joined them in 2052, with doctors and staff on call. The doctors that work there perform all surgeries at the hospital, but they primarily work at RTS and New Start. The atmosphere is quiet, friendly and comfortable. Consultation rooms are in the back; they look like small offices. ![]() The Moon Palace Restricted to only Villains, and furthermore only Villains who have struck up an Alliance with Exus & Velloh (two mod-run baddies). Access to the Palace is only granted to those who have been given small spell-encased stones, only meant to teleport the chosen allies to the Palace and then back to Earth. All player-run Villains have been approached by Exus & Velloh, and unless stated otherwise in their application, it is assumed they have these stones and have taken up a residence in the Moon Palace. ![]() | |||||
